Abstract:
A nozzle-type electron beam irradiation device (1) is provided with: a vacuum chamber (2); an electron beam generator (3) disposed inside the vacuum chamber (2); and a vacuum nozzle (4) which is connected to the vacuum chamber (2), guides an electron beam (E) from the electron beam generator (3) and irradiates the electron beam to the outside. The nozzle-type electron beam irradiation device (1) is also provided with a high-vacuum pump (5) capable of sucking from a location in the vicinity of the part of the vacuum chamber (2) to which the vacuum nozzle (4) is connected.
