Abstract:
This nozzle vane of a variable-geometry turbocharger has a blade shape that includes, in at least a center location in a blade height direction, a front edge, a rear edge, a pressure surface, and a negative pressure surface, wherein in this blade shape, 0≤Wmax/L<0.03, where Wmax is the maximum value of the distance from a line segment connecting the rear edge and a fixed point on the pressure surface, to an arbitrary point on the pressure surface between the rear edge and the fixed point, said fixed point being at a chord location of 40% from the rear edge toward the front edge, and L is the length of the line segment.
