Title:
NOZZLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/140702
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Various fields require mist having a fine and even particle size distribution. However, the use of high-pressure liquid feed pumps for feeding liquid or of high-pressure compressors and large-capacity compressors could not be avoided and there was no system that could produce the desired mist without using these devices. The generation of mist with an extremely narrow particle size distribution at low pressures and with little air supply is achieved by assembling a flow regulation tube, a whirling flow generator, and an orifice structure that are disposed on the same axis in an appropriate manner. Specifically, the device is characterized in that: an inner tube (2) and an outer tube (1) are disposed on the same axis; a whirling flow generator (3) that generates a whirling flow by means of a groove or a hole structure is provided in the gap between the inner tube and the outer tube; and an orifice structure (11) for narrowing the flow path of the fluid within the outer tube and for raising the flow rate of the fluid within the outer tube is provided on the tip of a nozzle.
