Abstract:
Provided is a nucleated erythrocyte sorting method whereby a fetal nucleated erythrocyte can be reliably separated from maternal blood. The present invention has a candidate cell selection step for selecting a nucleated erythrocyte candidate cell according to cell shape, a leukocyte selection step for setting a search range including the candidate cell and selecting a leukocyte within the search range, a nucleated erythrocyte determination step for determining that the candidate cell is a nucleated erythrocyte by comparing the hemoglobin spectral characteristics of the candidate cell and the leukocyte, and a sorting step for sorting the nucleated erythrocyte as a maternal nucleated erythrocyte or a fetal nucleated erythrocyte by comparing an allele included in the nucleated erythrocyte after the nucleated erythrocyte determination step and an allele included in a leukocyte not selected in the candidate cell selection step or the leukocyte selected in the leukocyte selection step.
