Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a nucleic acid amplification cartridge (10) including a reaction tank (20). Water-soluble beads BP including a nucleic acid amplification primer and water-soluble beads BE including a nucleic acid amplification enzyme are disposed in the reaction tank (20); Alternatively, beads BP are arranged midway in a route leading to the reaction tank (20) and beads BE are arranged in the reaction tank (20). The present invention pertains to a nucleic acid amplification method using the above cartridge. If the beads BP and the beads BE are disposed in the reaction tank, then a reaction solution comes into contact with the beads BP and the beads BE simultaneously or with beads BP first and then the beads BE in the reaction tank, thus dissolving the beads. If the beads BP are disposed midway in the route leading to the reaction tank and the beads BE are disposed in the reaction tank, then the reaction solution comes into contact with the beads BP midway in the route, thus dissolving the beads, and comes into contact with the beads BE in the reaction tank, thus dissolving the beads. The present invention provides: a nucleic acid amplification cartridge including a nucleic acid amplification reaction tank; and a nucleic acid amplification method. Said cartridge and method make it possible to curb the occurrence of false positives.
