Title:
NUCLEIC ACID AMPLIFYING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ABNORMAL TEMPERATURE REGULATING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/115863
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose is to provide a nucleic acid analyzing procedure represented by a PCR method or a constant temperature amplification method, the nucleic acid analyzing procedure being capable of efficiently performing different analysis items, and in particular being capable of easily detecting failure of temperature regulating function. The present invention is a nucleic acid amplifying device for amplifying the nucleic acids of a reaction solution in which a specimen and reagents are mixed together, wherein the device is provided with: a carousel having a plurality of temperature regulating blocks, each holding at least one reaction container in which the reaction solution is stored; a temperature regulating device provided on the carousel; a temperature regulating device provided on each of the temperature regulating blocks, the temperature regulating device regulating the temperature of the reaction solution; a temperature regulating device for regulating the temperature of the atmosphere in the nucleic acid amplifying device; and a control device for detecting failure based on the temperature measurement results.
