Abstract:
Provided is a nucleic acid chromatographic test tool, in which the content of a nucleic acid probe in a capturing nucleic acid solid phase is low and the visibility of a display part, which is a part corresponding to a surface part of the capturing nucleic acid solid phase, is good. A nucleic acid chromatographic test tool provided with a porous sheet on which a sample containing a target nucleic acid can be developed and which is lengthened in one direction, wherein the porous sheet has a sheet-like porous base of which one surface serves as a display part-forming surface, the porous base has a capturing nucleic acid solid phase through which a nucleic acid probe for capturing the target nucleic acid penetrates from the display part-forming surface so that a part of the capturing nucleic acid solid phase can be exposed on the display part-forming surface, the part of the capturing nucleic acid solid phase which is exposed on the display part-forming surface of the porous base serves as a display part, the display part has a strip-like shape that extends at an angle at which the display part intersects with the length direction of the porous sheet, and the capturing nucleic acid solid phase is so adapted that the concentration of the nucleic acid probe is gradually increased toward the display part as observed in the thickness direction of the capturing nucleic acid solid phase.
