Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a method for detecting a target nucleic acid using a catalytic nucleic acid, wherein it is possible to improve the catalytic nucleic acid reaction efficiency and to achieve a continuous reaction under isothermal conditions. A nucleic acid detection method including a reaction step for obtaining a first nucleic acid product by hybridizing a first nucleic acid, which is a substrate, to a first binding site of a catalytic nucleic acid equipped with an active site having a catalytic action, and a detection step for detecting the first nucleic acid product and/or the unreacted first nucleic acid. Hybridization is conducted in the presence of a cationic comb polymer.
