Abstract:
Provided is a nucleic acid for coding a fusion protein that links a FKBP family protein with a first protein selected from the group consisting of isoprene synthases and cyclic terpene synthases. Also provided is a fusion protein coded by said nucleic acid. Further provided is a recombined cell having said nucleic acid and expressing said fusion protein. Yet further provided is a recombined cell having a first nucleic acid for coding said first protein and a second nucleic acid for coding a FKBP family protein, and expressing said first protein and said FKBP family protein. Syngas-utilizing bacteria and methane-utilizing bacteria can be used as the host cells.
