Title:
NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULES OF SHRIMP
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2000034476
Kind Code:
A9
Abstract:
Nucleic acid molecules which can be characterized as microsatellites of Penaeus monodon are described. Also described are nucleic acid molecules which can be characterized as microsatellites or ESTs of Litopenaeus vannemei. These nucleic acid molecules, the complements thereof, and molecules sharing nucleotide sequence similarity, including those sharing contiguous nucleotide sequence, and others described herein can be used to identify, map and characterize segments of the genome of various species of shrimp.
