Abstract:
A number management unit (11) of a number management system (1) generates a transaction by using number portability information including a telephone number and encrypted connection destination information, newly generates a block by using a plurality of transactions, approves the block, and stores the block as a block chain in a number database (13). A number solving unit (12) retrieves a transaction in the block chain by using a telephone number that is the subject of an inquiry as a key, extracts and decodes the encrypted connection destination information corresponding to the telephone number that is the subject of the inquiry, and responds with the connection destination information corresponding to the telephone number that is the subject of the inquiry.
