Abstract:
Provided is a number-plate information acquiring device, which detects a vehicle
to pass a front point with detection data given by a vehicle detecting sensor such
as a camera and applies vehicle identifying information, traces the vehicle,
while holding the state of applying the vehicle identifying information, till
the vehicle passes a back point from the front point, holds the front number-plate
information acquired from the image data of a front camera when the vehicle enters
the front point, and the vehicle identifying information correspondingly,
holds back number-plate information and the vehicle identifying information
likewise correspondingly when the vehicle enters the back point, and compares
the vehicle identifying information to cause the front number-plate information
and the back number-plate information, as given the identical vehicle identifying
information, to correspond to each other.
