Abstract:

A number of terminal estimation device includes: a location data acquisition unit for acquiring location data including identification information, location information, and location acquisition time information; an antecedent and subsequent location data acquisition unit for acquiring location acquisition time information of second location data immediately prior to certain first location data and location acquisition time information of third location data immediately after the first location data among location data including the same identification information as the first location data; a feature amount calculation unit for calculating a feature amount with respect to the first location data on the basis of two or more pieces of the location acquisition time information of the first to third location data; an observation target acquisition unit for acquiring observation target location data including location information that includes the location acquisition time information between the observation start time and the observation end time and corresponds to observation area information; and a number of terminal estimation unit for estimating the number of terminals present in an observation area during an observation period on the basis of the feature amount and the length of the observation period with respect to the observation target location data.
