Abstract:
A numerical control apparatus for controlling a multi-system machine equipped with a plurality of independently operable systems, said numerical control apparatus being provided with a program storage unit which stores a machining program comprising a plurality of part programs, and a program analysis unit which executes the part programs in parallel on a system basis, wherein the program analysis unit extracts the program caller system number variable in each part program and sets the program caller system number variable to the system number of one of the part programs which serves as a caller, on the basis of the caller-callee relationship between the part programs, and wherein each part program, which includes a program caller system number variable, is written to change the operation of the machine on the basis of the value of the program caller system number variable of the part program.
