Abstract:
This numerical control device (1) is characterized by comprising: a drive command unit (15) for issuing operation commands for a main shaft (101) and feed shaft (102) of a machine tool (100); a sensor signal processing unit (11) for generating a plurality of types of state quantities on the basis of a sensor signal (200) obtained by detecting the vibration of a workpiece or a tool attached to the machine tool (100); a timing signal generation unit (16) for periodically generating and outputting a timing signal (207) at a timing synchronized with the rotation of the main shaft (101); a phase difference calculation unit (12) for generating, for each timing signal (207), dimensionless quantities representing the plurality of types of state quantities in a state space and calculating phase difference information (203) indicating the differences between the phases of the dimensionless quantities; and a vibration identification unit (13) for identifying chattering in the machine tool (100) on the basis of dispersion in the phase difference information (203).
