Abstract:
This numerical control device (1) includes: a program analysis unit (22) that analyzes, on the basis of a processing program (20), the change in the movement speed of a processing head with respect to a workpiece and the change in the amount of material supplied to the position to which a beam of light is directed; a movement distance calculation unit (25) that calculates, on the basis of the analysis results from the program analysis unit (22), a first distance that is the length of a first movement section, which is a section up to a first position where the addition of material to the workpiece is started and a section where the processing head is moved with increasing speed; and a condition command creation unit (27) for creating a supply command for increasing, while the processing head is moved in the first movement section, the amount of material supplied per unit time from zero to a command value based on a processing condition.
