Abstract:
A numerical control device comprises: a detection unit (4) that acquires a cutting force generated by a machine tool; a control unit (9) that calculates a control amount according to machining conditions and controls a drive shaft of the machine tool; a dynamic characteristics information storage unit (5) that stores dynamic characteristics information of a tool or a workpiece in correspondence with the machining conditions; a machining process information storage unit (6) that stores machining process information representing a machining process that occurs between the tool and the workpiece in correspondence with the machining conditions; a measure determination unit (7) that, when the occurrence of a machining defect is detected from the cutting force or the state of the drive shaft of the machine tool, calculates the divergence degree corresponding to the cause of the machining defect, compares the size of the calculated plurality of divergence degrees, and determines the cause of the machining defect for which occurrence was detected; and a correction amount calculation unit (8) that calculates a correction amount for a control amount in accordance with the cause of the machining defect determined by the measure determination unit, and outputs the correction amount to the control unit.
