Abstract:
A numerical control system (1) according to the present invention comprises: a coordinate conversion unit (12) that controls drive shafts (21, 22) provided to a machine tool (2) that performs machining using a tool in accordance with a numerical control program, acquires the disturbance force or disturbance torque applied to the drive shafts (21, 22), converts the disturbance force or disturbance torque into a tool base coordinate system, and outputs the result; and an identification unit (17) that calculates a machining process parameter that determines the characteristics of a machining process model and a dynamic characteristics parameter that determines the characteristics of a dynamics model of the machine tool (2), the calculations being performed using the disturbance force or disturbance torque outputted from the coordinate conversion unit (12), the drive shaft state, a predetermined relational expression, and machining conditions. The relational expression defines the relationship of the machining process parameter, the dynamic characteristics parameter, and the disturbance force or disturbance torque.
