Abstract:
Numerical controlling device and method which comprise a processor (102a), program memory (102b) for storing a numerical control program, and data memory (102c). Processor (102a) computes on working data inputted externally in accordance with the program by utilizing the data of the data memory (102c) and numerically controls a connected machine. The data memory (102c) of this control device stores the numerical control data of paper tape (102c) and further parameters or working programs programmed by a user microprocessor in a location PM. When a secret number is stored in the location PM, the working program can be executed as the input number coincident to the secret number is inputted.
