Title:
A NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED GEAR MACHINING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1982/004210
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This device eliminates relative movement between a cutting blade and a gear during cutting process or speed variation in a numerical control machine tool for machining gears for gear hobbing machines, gear grinding machines, etc. This device, for that purpose, includes a synchronization controlling pulse distributor (152) and a pulse distributor (153) for imparting additional rotation to the gear material in response to the type of the gear. The rotation of a cutting blade (110) and the rotation of the gear material around a C-axis on a table (101) are synchronized by the distributor (152), and the additional rotation of the gear material around the C-axis required in response to the type of the gear to be machined is provided by the distributor (153). The C-axis rotation pulses generated from the distributors (152, 153) are added by an adder (156), and fed as a command pulse to a C-axis servo unit (104).
