Abstract:
A nut component used for a steering rack, and a steering rack. The nut component comprises: a housing (110), which comprises a separation part and two mating parts, wherein the mating parts are positioned at a first end (111) and a second end (112) of the housing that are opposite in an axial direction (A) respectively, the separation part is located between the two mating parts in the axial direction, each mating part has a circumferential surface (100a) and a non-circumferential surface (100b) at the same axial position, and the circumferential surface has a mating radius, wherein both the radius of the separation part and the radius of the non-circumferential surface are smaller than the mating radius; and a through hole (120), which extends through the housing along the axial direction, an inner thread (121) being provided in the through hole, and the inner thread extending along a spiral line extending in the axial direction. The nut component for the steering rack and the steering rack have the advantages of being simple and reliable, easy to implement, convenient to use, etc., and may provide an improved ball circulation function.
