Abstract:
Provided are structure for a nut and that for a feed screw mechanism, which enable bolt tightening torque to be kept low. A nut (12b) is provided with a cylindrical section (19a) and a slit (20a). The cylindrical section (19a) has a female thread section (14b) on the inner peripheral surface thereof. The slit (20a) is formed in one circumferential portion of the cylindrical section (19a), and is open to the outer peripheral surface and inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical section (19a). The slit (20a) is formed so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the lead angle of a portion of the thread groove of the female thread section (14b), the portion being crossed by the slit (20a).
