Title:
NUT LOOSENING STOPPER AND NUT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/135993
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the technical problem of reliably preventing nuts from loosening and eventually falling off under ongoing conditions of intermittent shocks, vibrations, and the like. A nut loosening stopper 5 according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of nuts 6 that are screwed onto bolts 2 protruding from a rotating hub 1 to mount a rotating body 3 onto the rotating hub 1; and a binding band 11 wrapped around the plurality of nuts 6. An engagement groove 10 is formed in the lateral circumferential surface of each of the nuts 6 and extends in the direction of nut rotation. When tightening, the binding band 11 is squeezed into a loop so that a band portion 12 of the binding band 11 fits into the engagement groove 10 of each of the nuts 6 spaced equally in the circumferential direction with respect to the center of rotation of the rotating body 3.
