Abstract:
A nut is provided with: a casing having a circular cylindrical inner space; and a screw body inserted into the casing. The screw body is a substantially cylindrical body having a tapered hole having a diameter increasing rearward. Circumferential guide walls are formed on the tapered surface of the tapered hole with appropriate intervals therebetween. Divided screw elements are each arranged between adjacent guide walls so as to be movable in the axial direction of the tapered surface, thereby forming female screw sections corresponding to a male screw body. A pressing means for always pressing the divided screw elements forward is provided within the screw body. The nut is also provided with a rotation means for rotating the screw body. As a result of this configuration, even if the nut is mounted to a body to be fastened and the nut cannot be rotated together with the body to be fastened, the nut can be retightened.
