Disclosed is a nutritional composition which is suitable for administration by tube feeding such as enteral or gastric administration, or by oral ingestion, and which contains a high concentration of lipids, which are caloric nutrients capable of providing high calorific value. The nutritional composition also exhibits excellent emulsion stability, and excellent utilisation efficiency as a caloric nutrient. The disclosed nutritional composition uses lipids wherein the medium-chain fatty acid inclusion amount is 20-80 weight%, uses an emulsifier such as an organic acid monoglyceride or lecithin which has fatty acids in the structure thereof, and the composition is formed as an oil-in-water type emulsion composition.
