Abstract:
Provided is a technology which enables detection of objects in various environments. This object detection apparatus has: a first image acquisition unit that acquires a first image obtained by photographing a prescribed space by a first imaging device for photographing an image by detecting light, from objects, in a prescribed first wavelength band; a second image acquisition unit that acquires a second image obtained by photographing the space by a second imaging device for photographing an image by detecting light, from objects, in a second wavelength band different from the first wavelength band; a determination unit that determines a use image for use in object detection from among the first image and the second image; and a detection process unit that detects a prescribed object to be detected which is included in the use image.
