Abstract:
This object detection apparatus is provided with: an object detection unit; a tracking unit; a reception tendency determination unit (S230); and an object determination unit (S240, S250). The reception tendency determination unit (S230) determines the tendency of the reception power of a reflected wave from a target object with respect to the distance from a vehicle to the target object on the basis of the target object tracking result of the tracking unit. The object determination unit (S240, S250) determines that the target object is an object of high position under which the vehicle is allowed to pass when the reception tendency determination unit (S230) determines that the reception power tends to be constant irrespective of the distance to the target object.
