Abstract:

An object detection device (1) equipped with: a correction unit (41) for using projection conversion to correct distortion in an image (Im) captured by a camera (2) that is installed in a construction machine (100) and that captures images of an object to be detected; and a processing unit (42) for setting, in the corrected image (Im), a plurality of regions (R-1, R-2, and R-3) provided in accordance with the distance between the camera (2) and the object and each having a different area, and carrying out image-processing for detecting the object in a portion of the image (Im) corresponding to each of the plurality of regions (R-1, R-2, and R-3).
