Abstract:
On the condition that there is a region of overlap between a reflection wave search area and an image search region, an ECU 20 determines whether objects detected by a radar sensor 31 and a camera sensor 32 are the same object. In the case of determining that the objects are the same object, the ECU 20 determines the brightness of the object in the detection direction by means of the camera sensor 32. Then, on the basis of the determined brightness of the object in the detection direction, the ECU 20 changes the size of the image search region.
