Abstract:
Provided is an object detection device that enables the detection of an object while suppressing the effect of noise resulting from road surface reflections, even while suppressing a decrease in detection performance and an increase in cost. One embodiment of the object detection device is provided with: an LPF unit (13) that, of the reflected waves received by a reception circuit unit (12), allows the passage only of wavelengths that are lower than the pulse frequency of a search wave at the most; a threshold calculation unit (15) that calculates an object determination threshold for determining the presence/absence of an object on the basis of the output of the LPF unit (13); and an object determination unit (17) that determines the presence/absence of an object using the object determination threshold calculated by the threshold calculation unit (15).
