Abstract:
A target recognition unit (21) derives recognition information representing the state of a target that can be recognized from sensor information. A prediction unit (22) predicts, on the basis of the recognition information derived at a first observation timing, the state of the target at a subsequent second observation timing. A reliability derivation unit (23) derives a score that corresponds to the degree of difference between the state of the target observed at the second observation timing and a subsequent state of the target predicted from the first observation timing. The reliability derivation unit (23) then statistically processes a score pertaining to the target derived at each of a plurality of observation timings from the past to a current time, thereby deriving a degree of reliability. When the degree of reliability satisfies a prescribed standard, a determination unit (24) determines that the target pertaining to the degree of reliability is currently present.
