Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of enabling determination as to whether a recognition image included in a captured image is an object image corresponding to an object. This object determination method is for determining whether a recognition image included in a captured image is an object image corresponding to an object on the basis of a result of comparison between luminance of at least one point positioned inside the recognition image and luminance of the edge of the recognition image. For example, when the object is brighter than a circuit board, at least one point positioned inside the object image is brighter than the luminance of the edge of the object image. On the other hand, when at least one point positioned inside the recognition image is darker than the luminance of the edge of the recognition image, the recognition image can be determined as not being the object image.
