Abstract:
An object display device is provided with an image acquisition unit for acquiring an image of a real space, a shade computation unit for acquiring a set of shade information indicating the position in which a shadow is produced in the real space, an image processing unit for correcting the image of the real space or an image of a pre-stored marker such that the influence of the shadow is eliminated on the basis of the shade information, a marker detection unit for extracting a marker from the image of the real space by using the corrected image of the real space and/or the corrected image of the marker, and a display unit for superimposing a virtual object associated with the marker to the image of the real space. As a consequence, it is possible to perform a marker detection process on the image of the real space even when the image has a shadow resulting from a structure similar to when the image of the real space does not have a shadow.
