Abstract:
This object identification system 10 is provided with a camera 30 and an operation processing device 40. The operation processing device 40 includes a classifier 42 machine-trained to be able to identify an object on the basis of an output image from the camera 30. A gating camera 50 divides an inner direction into a plurality of ranges, and changes the time difference between transmission and exposure of light to capture an image for each range. The classifier 42 is machine-trained with a plurality of images IMG1-IMGN which are obtained by the gating camera and are taken as training data.
