Abstract:

This object moving device is provided with a moving object 1, a cable 2, a drum member 3, a drive source 4 and a base member 5. The base member 5 has a guide rail 51 which guides the moving object 1 in a length direction D1, a one-end direction changing unit 52a, an other-end direction changing unit 52b, and a drum member housing unit 53 in which the drum member 3 is housed. One end E1 of the guide rail 51 comprises an end surface EF1 and a thick portion 58 which extends from the end surface EF1 in the length direction with a prescribed thickness. At the one end E1, the one-end side direction changing unit 52a is connected in a position that results in the thick portion 58 being positioned on the line connecting the one-end direction changing unit 52a and the other-end direction changing unit 52b. By using this object moving device, both low thickness and high-strength can be achieved.
