Abstract:
An object operation method and apparatus, falling within the field of user interface interaction. The object operation method comprises: receiving an edge touch control signal (201); selecting a target operation object in a user interface according to the edge touch control signal (202), wherein the edge touch control signal is a signal triggered by an edge touch control sensor, and the user interface comprises at least one operation object; and executing a predetermined operation on the target operation object (203). By receiving an edge touch control signal, selecting a target operation object in a user interface according to the edge touch control signal and executing a predetermined operation on the target operation object, the problem of inconvenience in one-hand operation of a user due to the fact that the screen of a mobile terminal is relatively large is solved, and the effect of improving user experience by enabling the user to operate with one hand when the user uses the mobile terminal is achieved.
