Abstract:
Disclosed is a pallet positioning device (1) wherein a pallet (3) is positioned and fixed to a base member (2) in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. In this pallet positioning device (1), the base member (2) is provided with a first reference member (10) for positioning the pallet (3), a second reference member (20) for restricting rotation about the shaft center of the first reference member (10), and a reference bearing surface (5) for positioning the pallet (3) in the vertical direction. The flange sections (11, 21) of the first and second reference members (10, 20) are fixed to the base member (2) with bolts (14, 24). First and second tapered engaging surfaces (18, 28) are formed on the outer peripheral portions of engaging protrusions (12, 22) of the first and second reference members (10, 20). Annular engaging sections of annular engaging members of the workpiece pallet (3) are engaged with the first and second tapered engaging surfaces (18, 28) of the engaging protrusions (12, 22). Clamping bolts (4) are inserted through bolt insertion holes (7) in the workpiece pallet (3), and are threadably engaged with bolt holes (13, 23) of the engaging protrusions (12, 22), with the consequence that the annular engaging members are elastically deformed in such a way as to expand the outside diameters, resulting in the annular engaging members being engaged with the first and second tapered engaging surfaces (18, 28) in a close contact state.
