The invention relates to a composite material comprising at least one first plastic material (18) and at least one further plastic material, wherein the first plastic material (18) is unstretched or substantially unstretched, and wherein the further plastic material, which forms a first reinforcing element (1) for the first plastic material (18), is stretched, has a greater stiffness than the first plastic material (18) and is joined to said first plastic material (18).
