Abstract:
The present invention relates to an object tracking method and system for image synthesis. According to a first aspect of the present invention, an image synthesis system for tracking an area of an object for image synthesis in a target image with which the object is synthesized may comprise: a position input unit for receiving an input of a guide area that is an area designated by a user for each frame of the target image including multiple frames; a similarity calculation unit for calculating, for each frame of the target image, the similarity of an expected area of each frame of the target image, which is an area where the object is to be synthesized, on the basis of the pixel vale of the expected area; an acceleration calculation unit for calculating the acceleration of the expected area of each frame of the target image on the basis of the position of the expected area on each frame of the target image; and an area determination unit for determining, for each frame of the target image, the position where the object is synthesized.
