Abstract:
A method for screening for schizophrenia is provided. One or more compounds selected from a group comprising betaine, creatine, glutamic acid, gluconic acid, pelargonic acid, imidazole acetic acid, perillic acid, and cyclohexylamine, is measured as a marker for schizophrenia, and screening for schizophrenia is conducted on the basis of said measurement result.
