Abstract:
A microscope objective lens (OL) comprises a first lens group (G1) having a positive refractive power and a second lens group (G2) having a negative refractive power. The first lens group (G1) has a diffractive optical element (DOE). The second lens group (G2) includes a first cemented lens (CL21) made by bonding a positive lens (L21) and a negative lens (L22) with the concave surface facing the image side and a second cemented lens (CL22) made by bonding a negative lens (L23) with the concave surface facing the object side and a positive lens (L24). The microscope objective lens satisfies the following conditional expression: 65.0 <νd1 0.0045 <θgd1 + (0.002076 ×νd1) - 1.36467 where νd1 represents the Abbe's number with respect to the d-line of the negative lens (L23), and θgd1 represents the partial dispersion ratio of the negative lens (L23).
