Abstract:

Provided is an objective optical system comprising, in order from the object side, a first lens (L1) having negative power, a stop (S), a second lens (L2) having positive power, and a third lens (L3), wherein the surface (2) closest to the image side of the first lens (L1) is configured by a concave surface, the surface (6) closest to the image side of the second lens (L2) is configured by an aspheric surface, the surface (7) closest to the object side of the third lens (L3) is configured by a convex surface, the distance (d_L23) between the second lens (L2) and the third lens (L3) is smaller than the distance (d_L12) between the first lens (L1) and the second lens (L2), and the conditional expression d_L23/d_L12<0.25 is satisfied.
