Abstract:
[Problem] To automatically detect a failure in the communication of an observation-data relay device, and restore wireless communication. [Solution] A base unit (observation-data relay device) 30 is equipped with a wireless LAN AP 32, a router 33, a control unit 34, and a wireless LAN control unit 35. The wireless LAN AP 32 receives observation data from an external source. The router 33 transmits the observation data to a device connected to a network. The wireless LAN control unit 35 performs a reset control of the wireless LAN AP 32, when the control unit 34 for wirelessly communicating with the wireless LAN AP 32 detects that wireless communication has not been established between the wireless LAN AP 32 and the wireless LAN control unit 35.
