Abstract:
Provided are an observation device, an observation control method, and an observation control program that can achieve both high speed image acquisition and high image quality. The observation device is provided with: a stage (11) on which a container that accommodates a subject is mounted; an imaging optical system (17) that has an objective lens that forms an image of the subject in the container; a scanning control unit (22) that moves the stage (11) in relation to the imaging optical system (17) to scan each observation position in the container using the imaging optical system (17); and an acceleration determination information acquisition unit (24) that acquires at least one piece of information from among information of the subject, information of the container, information of the observation method, and information of the observation conditions. The scanning control unit (22) controls the acceleration of the stage on the basis of the at least one piece of information.
