Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for observation by a non-human mammalian cerebral infarction model, and a device for observation by a non-human mammalian cerebral infarction model. [Solution] The problem addressed by the present invention is solved by a method for observing a non-human mammal in a state of cerebral infarction, the method comprising performing a procedure to make the brain of an anesthetized non-human mammal observable using a remote bilateral common carotid artery occlusion model for the non-human mammal, and observing, temporally/spatially and in real time, the cerebral infarction pathology from before the onset of infarction in a cerebral blood vessel until ischemia/abnormal contraction/reperfusion through use of a two-photon laser microscope.
