Abstract:
The present invention relates to "an obstacle detecting device and a detecting method using the same." According to a first aspect of the present invention, the obstacle detecting device can comprise: a laser scanner capable of measuring one surface; a rotary shaft capable of fixing and rotating the laser scanner; a pair of support parts arranged on both ends of the rotary shaft, and vertically provided from the bottom; and a distortion spring connected to the support parts and the laser scanner, and provided so as to encompass the rotary shaft, thereby applying a restoration force to the laser scanner. According to the present invention having the above configuration, a laser scanner moves periodically by using a restoration force of a distortion spring and the concept of resonance, such that a small amount of energy is necessary to drive the obstacle detecting device in comparison to when all of an input is applied to a laser scanner by an actuator. In addition, the obstacle detecting device, a driving actuator, and the like can be miniaturized, and energy consumption can be reduced.
