Abstract:
An obstacle detection method and apparatus, and a device and a storage medium, which relate to the technical field of intelligent logistics devices. The obstacle detection method comprises: according to a mobile robot and a target location, determining a detection plane region (100), wherein the distance from a point in the detection plane region to a connecting line between the mobile robot and the target location does not exceed a fixed detection value; on the basis of a vector distance method, determining the shortest distance from an obstacle to the connecting line between the mobile robot and the target location (120); and according to a comparison result between the shortest distance and the fixed detection value, determining whether there is an obstacle in the detection plane region (140). A regional obstacle detection problem is converted into a shortest distance problem, such that whether there is an obstacle in a fixed region before a mobile robot reaches a target point can be quickly and conveniently detected in advance, thereby assisting the mobile robot in determining whether to avoid an obstacle or continue to advance, and thus improving the transportation efficiency and safety.
