Abstract:
An obstacle sensing device for an autonomous traveling robot and an autonomous traveling robot having the same are disclosed. The present invention comprises: a base; a transmission and reception unit coupled to the base so as to rotate around a rotary shaft, emitting a predetermined emission signal to the outside around the rotary shaft, and receiving a reflected emission signal so as to generate a sensing signal; and a case having a reference wall, which is implemented in a circular arc shape of a predetermined length at a preset distance from the transmission and reception unit around the rotary shaft so as to reflect a signal emitted from the transmission and reception unit.
