Title:
OCULAR LENS SYSTEM, AND IMAGE OBSERVATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/019605
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of achieving an ocular lens system having a large allowable decentering amount. This ocular lens system enlarges an image of an observation object and forms a virtual image thereof. The ocular lens system is characterized in that: the horizontal angle of view thereof is at least 40˚; the change amount (∆) (in mm) in field curvature in a tangential direction, with respect to a decentering amount (S) (in mm) between an optical axis (Ax) and an eye of an observer, satisfies, for all image heights, condition (1), namely -0.25 <∆/S < 0; and the maximum value of the decentering amount (S) is at least 3 mm.
