Abstract:
An OFDM reception device receives OFDM symbols including signals of effective symbol intervals generated on the basis of transmitted information, and signals of guard intervals generated on the basis of the signals of the effective symbol intervals. The OFDM reception device is provided with a first orthogonal transformation unit which orthogonally transforms the signals of the effective symbol intervals, a second orthogonal transformation unit which orthogonally transforms the signals of the guard intervals, and a decoding unit which decodes the OFDM symbols on the basis of the results of the orthogonal transformation of the first orthogonal transformation unit and the results of the orthogonal transformation of the second orthogonal transformation unit.
